A Live Experience with Sound & Healing
Space for healing sound experiences
On the evening of November 10th,
start a new series with different musicians & sound artists,
who are aware of the healing – mind-altering effects of sound and singing.
They work with this medium – one of the oldest of humankind – in a performative, concertante and healing action.
In this format, there is the possibility to experience
different – live played & sung sounds from different cultures – while lying comportable and get also in contact and touch with the instruments, which greatly enhances the effect.
After this special concert form, which resembles a sound bath or field,
there is the opportunity to share, reflect on the experience together and learn more about the musicians, their instruments, about the ancient connection of music, consciousness and healing.
THE MUSICIANS
Saskia Baumgart
on vocals, guitar and various sound percussion,
like the shamanic frame drum that invites you to travel,
a body tambura, sansula, gong, singing bowls
and a siren voice that transforms.
Miroslav Grosser
on the violin, electric violin & overtone singing
with the peculiarity to create multiple tones in one voice
that sound at the same time and with instruments
that tell stories and that enchant and touch.
Lilia
Lilia plays an instrument rich in overtones, a seven-stringed zither, the Gu Qin, a temple instrument of ancient China, which reminds us of the Daoist culture with its tones and combined with the Slovakian overtone flute, fujara, takes us into distant, new worlds.
